When you enter Cupids this is the sign that greets you - prepare to make history. Cupids is an historical town and the evidence is growing as to it's importance. When you check out the Legacy Centre and the archaelogical dig, it is clear the staff has done considerable work and research. Apparently, Cupids is the birthplace of English Canada, and this was of course around 1610. In addition Cupids is a town of a substantial number of firsts, which you have to see for yourself at the Legacy Centre.
In addition to visiting Cupids we were in the area for the Storytellers Conference - prtciularly for a public event at the St.George's church in Brigus.
Great spots to visit.
